Essential Roadworks Whitbarrow Road Structural Maintenance Starting 24 July for 12 Weeks Fishery Motorists, Residents and Businesses are advised that major road works to resurface WHITBARROW ROAD BRIDGEWATER STREET and DANE BANK ROAD including the junction at Brookfield Road, are programmed to commence on 24 July 2017, and will take up to 12 weeks to complete ROAD DANE BANK ROAD Extent of Works (Rood Closures) Phase1Phase 2 Phase 3Phose 4 The works will take place in phases, as shown in the plan to the left. The roads, and their side roads, will be closed to undertake the works safely All works will take place between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Works to Bridgewater Street will take place between 7:00pm and midnight. All roads will be fully open to traffic outside these Lbeory Car Park Alternative Route: See www.warrington.gov.uk/roadworks for further information, phasing and diversion routes. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times during the works. Vehicular access will be under the control of the contractor as directed on site. Vehicles parked on the road or footway obstructing the works may be removed. Information on bus services, diversions and times will be posted at stops prior to commencement of the works. Cones, barriers and signs are there for a reason to protect our workers from danger and to keep the public safe. We urge drivers to pay close attention to safety when driving near roadworks.
